About the Event
Dr. D. L. Richardson is a native of Parkin, Arkansas. He is wedded to Tammy Hull-Richardson and is the father of one daughter, Alicia Richardson-Johnson and husband, Marlon Johnson, and grandfather of one son, Kyran. He began his preaching ministry in 1984 at the Greater Second Baptist Church of Little Rock, AR under the leadership of the late Pastor Curtis Ridout. Since then, he has served as pastor of the First Baptist Church Main Street in North Little Rock, AR since February 1996. He also served for 6 years as pastor of the First Baptist Church in Wrightsville, AR.
He was conferred a Doctor of Philosophy in Bible and Theology from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, Shreveport, LA in 2006, an Honorary Doctrine of Divinity degree from Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, AR in 2005, a Master of Ministry degree from Bethany Theological Seminary, Dothan, Alabama, 1998 (Magna Cum Laude Graduate) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway in 1984.
He is also the author of five books: Bones from the Pulpit Volume 1 & 2, Principles for Presenting the Purity of the Passage, a resource tool for studying, teaching, and preaching the Word of God, and Principles for Praying the Passage, a study guide for talking to God in His own language, and Basic Bread for the Believer, a crash course in basic Bible principles.
